Tutoring/Academic Support
Skate Up Inc. offers individualized tutoring in reading, writing, and math for children and teens. Led by Dr. Manuela Ippolito, a retired elementary teacher with 27 years of classroom experience, instruction focuses on identifying learning gaps, strengthening foundational skills, and building confidence and academic independence.
Services include reading fluency and comprehension, writing, mathematics, grade-level skill development, and critical thinking. Reading instruction encourages students to make connections, ask questions, draw inferences, and engage in thoughtful discussion.

Parent/guardian initial consultation (10–15 minutes): No charge

Comprehensive student assessment (up to 30 minutes): $20

Individualized tutoring, 20 minutes: $30

Individualized tutoring, 40 minutes: $40

Individualized tutoring, 50 minutes: $50
Sessions are available in person, online, or at a mutually agreed-upon community location, depending on scheduling and availability.

Skate Up uses skateboarding to build confidence and community for underserved youth. We also offer tutoring and academic support to help kids grow in and out of school.
